Is Troop 25 right for you?

Troop 25 has active patrols with many scouts from the ages of 11-17.  Troop 25 is active year-round and works to help boys acheive the ideals of scouting through the Scout Oath, Scout Law, outdoor adventures, rank advancement, association with adults, personal growth, and leadership development.

Troop 25 has many active parents and adult leaders that work to cultivate courage, loyalty, patriotism, brotherliness, self-control, courtesy, kindness, usefulness, cheerfulness, cleanliness, thrift, purity and honor in all scouts. These are the values that the Boy Scouts of America and Troop 25 adds to any boys natural gifts to be a good citizen and successful leader in life.

Troop 25 has a large active group of leaders that teach scout requirements and Merit Badge courses that are necessary for boys wanting to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.  Scouting's highest honor.  Troop 25 has multiple scouts that achieve the Eagle Scout rank every year.

Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River

Scouting is more than just meetings.  Troop 25 goes camping every month, and also attends Boy Scout Summer Camp trips in the North Georgia and North Carolina mountains every year.  Membership in Troop 25 allows you to join us at Daytona Scout Day where we will camp in the infield of the Daytona National Speedway and enjoy a race.  We will also be camping at Warner Robbins, AFB in Georgia and we'll be visiting the beautiful Florida Caverns.

You are welcome to join us this year as we attend Summer Camp at Woodruff Scout Reservation in the foothills of the North Georgia mountains from July 6 - 13 in 2013.  At summer camp you can will test your skills by rock climbing, repelling, whitewater rafting, boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming, hiking, and doing many other activities that the camp offers.
